I'm a Hot Geek Part 1

This post will be talking about my own personal review for the 5 movies I bought over the past week.

Ranking 5

Title: Princess Protection Program
Genre: Chick Flick

I used to like every Disney made movie so much when I was younger, so don't be surprise as there will be more to come for Disney movies to be added into my movie collection list. Anyway, talk about Princess Protection Program. It's basically about a Princes who are in the first line to be the first ruler of a small country called... La Costa Luna (I hope I did not get it wrong), when the Evil Nasty Self-Absorbed Prime Minister trying to take over the throne. (Normal la, the plot getting boring for me so far) So the Princess being taken into the PPP (Princess Protection Program) to hide out in another country. And learn how to live like a normal American Teenage girl.

Why I think It's Hot?: Not quite sure what I like about this movie. Just some fancy-pancy teenage girl trying to live life like a normal teenage girl in America.

Why I Think It's Not so Hot?: 1st of all, I DO NOT like the princess outfit at all. It is so CHEAP. =.=" Even the Queen outfit is so Cheap. I bet the movie budget is like $100 per person outfit. The girl herself are even hotter than the outfit. And every scene, is like talking half way got cut off and up to the next scene. Damn I am getting fussy over movies nowadays. It's very childish. Boring movie though. Maybe my age does not suit to watch this anymore. I shall stick to 3D cartoon instead.

Title: Diary of a WIMPY KID
Genre: Comedy / Family

This movie is taken from the book series called "Diary of a WIMPY KID" that you can find in any bookstore near you. I've read a little few weeks ago, that make me bought the movie. I love the book, just wanted to know how good will the movie is.

Why I think It's Hot?: The first part of the movie really feels like promising a good movie. It's about Greg first year in the middle school. How he survive and trying so hard to be the popular kid in school. Well, it does not went well of course. Though all and all, it is still a very interesting movie that you can share to watch it together with the family.

Why I Think It's Not so Hot?: In the middle of the movie, the main character tend to get over himself trying so hard to be popular that he became a mean person. Even to his own best friend. He did not even apologize when he broke his best friend arm which then makes him popular. Well, at least they have a better movie plot than the PPP. This is way more funnier :)

Title: The Tooth Fairy
Genre: Comedy / Family

Yea Yea Yea. Stop yapping. I really like comedy movie. At least this is the kind of movie I would love to re-watch it over and over and over again. Even when I'm old. LOL. This movie is about Derek Thompson (Dwayne) getting a summon ticket from the tooth fairy for ruining children's dream. =.=" okay...

Why I think It's Hot?: What else is there to talk about than to watch The Rock, I mean, The macho Dwayne Johnson wearing a Pink Ballerina gown with... WINGS! >.<" Still can't shake it off my head! oh, I am a big fan of Julie Andrews. Nuff said. Why I Think It's Not so Hot?: Well, during the scene where Derek was about to shoot his first goal since 10 years ago. That scene took wayyyyyyyyyyyy too long hearing only his breathing. =.=" and the game looks like already taken time until midnight. But the school looks like is still in early evening where they were rushing for the school talent show.

Title: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang
Genre: Comedy / Family

Behold, returns the Nanny McPhee! I still remember the first show where she told the children, "When you need me, but do not want me, then I will stay. When you want me, but do not need me, then I must to go"I don't get it until I watch it till the end of the show. This time, the children are more loud, more obnoxious than the children on the Nanny McPhee first movie.

Why I think It's Hot?: Like Hello, Only in this movie where you can see the Pig flying and doing synchronize swim. LoL. Makes me laugh! Plus, I just love these children. There are such a pro actor! I cried, when Cyril (The rich Cousin) standing up to his own military father in his office. Ah... That moment...My tears just could not stop. Definitely a good watch, if you like family movie like this.

Why I Think It's Not so Hot?: Well, compare to the first movie, Nanny McPhee looks like a shadow of this show. Not as interesting as the previous show.

My favorite Favorite thus far~!

Title: Ip Man2
Genre: Action / Biography

I just could not get enough of IpMan 1st show. Now came the second. I jam officially in love with this movie. The second is even better. Person like IpMan a humble man, once said (in the first movie of course), "There is no such thing as man scared of his wife, only respect the wife" A very wise man indeed.

Why I think It's Hot?: With movies like this. I am hoping for the 3rd movie! The fight, the kung fu, it's just awesome. A Chinese Martial art of Wing Chun, trying to fight for the chinese community dignity than to be the laughing stock of the British during the World War II. That was a dark time indeed.

Why I Think It's Not so Hot?: I don't like the Ang Moh. The one calling himself the Best in the world. Why do he need to shout and yell when talking to the press =.=" The Chinese Press can't understand, not deaf.
